WEST ATLANTA PROJECT

The West Atlanta Project is a collaborative effort between the HBCU Green Fund, US ACE Coalition, Land Peace Foundation, and the BIPOC Climate Scholars Project. This initiative focuses on climate justice discussions and aims to promote environmental equity and opportunities in the energy and STEM industries for HBCU students in Atlanta.

IMPACT:

The West Atlanta Project provides training, mentorship, and internship opportunities for HBCU students, preparing them for careers in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors. It contributes to a more inclusive and diverse workforce in climate-related industries while addressing environmental justice issues in local communities.
